How It Works

Here's the cycle, step by step:

1. You pull the trigger rearward. This releases the hammer and fires the round — just like a normal semi-auto trigger.
2. Next, the bolt carrier moves rearward under gas pressure.
3. While it moves back, the underside of the full-auto profile carrier pushes down on the FRDs reset lever.
4. This motion travels through a simple cam. The cam then physically pushes the trigger forward into full reset.
5. At this point, the trigger is locked. It cannot move rearward again until the bolt returns fully forward and locks into battery.
6. Only after the bolt is locked and the disconnector hands the hammer back to the sear can you pull the trigger again.
7. If you keep steady rearward pressure on the trigger, it fires the instant the bolt locks. The cycle then repeats

• This required return-to-battery lock is the key feature. It guarantees one separate trigger pull for every round. That is why the FRD remains a legal semi-automatic fire-control part under current ATF rules (November 2025).

Lever Types Explained

Untouched- Untouched levers are made of 316 steel that comes straight off the laser cutter and will need deburred and sanded for optimal function , these are a great option for those who own dremels or belt sanders

Smooth Finish- Smooth Finish levers are made of 316 steel and they come with a smooth surface at the contact points for optimal function

AR500- AR500 Levers come with a smooth surface at the contact points and offers twice the durability of our 316 steel levers
